Hi all, I was trying to compile mutt from the latest sources on my work desktop, which is running, I believe, the latest Ubuntu release. What I found is, if I compile against ncurses, the arrows which show thread relationships are drawn as a series of off ASCII characters, like so: T~TT~@>RE: T~TT~@> If I compile against slang, it works as expected. Also, Ubuntu's package (based on Mutt 1.5.15+20070412 (2007-04-11)) is compiled against ncurses, and that works fine (though I think it had a weird interaction with some environment variable, which I fixed by unsetting the variable). Anyone seen this before? My locale is set up correctly, and as I mentioned other compilations of Mutt, plus several other curses applications, all seem to work fine. I tried configuring mutt with and without all of the following options: --enable-locales-fix, --without-wc-funcs I tried with both off, both on, and then each in turn by itself. Any clues? Oh, another oddity is that the latest version (from the mercurial repository, obtained via " hg clone http://dev.mutt.org/hg/mutt") reports that it is Mutt 1.5.14: Mutt 1.5.14 (2007-03-31) Copyright (C) 1996-2007 Michael R.
