#3002: mutt-1.5.17: 'N'ew flag keeps being set on mails in IMAP folders

 {{{
 Package: mutt
 Version: 1.5.17
 Severity: important

 -- Please type your report below this line

 I use several IMAP servers with spool mailboxes on all of them. Changing
 mailboxes is done via
 macros. The problem is as follows: If I read a message, the 'N'ew flag
 gets removed. If I change
 the folder and afterwards change back, the 'N'ew flag quote often
 reappears. This is pretty
 confusing. This bug does not exists in 1.5.11, but in 1.5.12 up to 1.5.17
 (though I have not tested
 all the versions in between).
