Ah, I see your message now.  I was away for a few days and haven't
caught up on everything yet.  Still cherry-picking threads. :)

Any thoughts from any quarters on an alternate syntax?  Part of what I
like about the fmtpipe approach is that it doesn't complicate escaping
rules with an extra parse.  Mutt's escaping rules are pretty hairy, more
difficult even than sh's.
