[RFC] [PATCH] Caching

Hi,

I've been working on turning the message caching for IMAP into a more 
generic feature with an API designed after the header caching so it's 
useable by POP, too. And while I'm at it, I added header caching support 
for POP, too.

Since I last wrote about it, I've refactored it a lot to meet Brendan's 
requirements and just fixed a last bug in the POP part so that I now 
think it can be included (at least I hope Brendan doesn't have more 
points to complain about :)

I think it's desireable to have something like this go in so I ask 
everybody to test it (even without using the message/body cache 
feature), and ask for comments and further suggestions.

If there're solid objections against it, please let me know so I can 
exclude the manual update documenting header caching into a separate 
patch to get included separatedly...
