Re: mutt/891: mutt fails to print a hostname after the @ in the from field of a messages it sends, although hostname -f does print a FQDN.

 It doesn't necessarily need to be "OK" (if particular for laptops
 that goes from network to network), as it can be set in /etc/hosts.
 The hostname(1) man page says here:
 
    Technically: The FQDN is the name gethostbyname(2) returns for the host
    name returned by gethostname(2).  The DNS domain name is the part after
    the first dot.
 
    Therefore it depends on the configuration (usually  in  /etc/host.conf)
    how  you can change it. Usually (if the hosts file is parsed before DNS
    or NIS) you can change it in /etc/hosts.
