You use namequot3-patched mutt on one account and normal mutt on
another, don't you?
Please look at the raw message files. They must be the same.
(Otherwise one of your MTA is broken.)
If I understand RFC2822 correctly,
To: "FOO \\100 BAR" <foo@bar>
should never be translated as "FOO 100 BAR".
But normal mutt does it.
