Ditto.

Actually, it would be nice if users could control the amount or type 
of decoding done during a search.  For example, it would be useful 
to be able to do lightweight decoding such as quoted-printable and 
charset conversions without also have to do more time-consuming 
decoding such as converting MS Office attachments to plain text.
