Maybe this is just one more example of why the 'rise & fall'
theory of nations has always worked.

I've been wondering when the alarm bells will be raised about nano and
bio tech labs being opened overseas rather than in the US. I don't have
any sources for this or know for sure it's happening, but logically, why
open labs in the US when it's cheaper and regulation less onerous overseas?
Same with R&D.

At the point even the *new* high=tech jobs are moving off shore,
everyone should start seeing the writing on the wall.

I think the solution is to invest in University science and technology
research, as well as assisting small business ventures which are more
likely to keep jobs in country.
