Subject: CMU wins Grand Challenge


Well, ok, that's not _exactly_ true, but all 3 finishers were from CMU at one time or another. (There are apparently still 2 entries on the course, but there is no way they can beat the times of the front 3.)

The winner was Stanford's Stanley (steamer?), and the researchers who did it were long-time CMU faculty who moved over to Stanford.
