Dear Dave:
I am hoping you can post to the IP list a reminder about the 2005
Telecommunications Policy Research Conference. Deadline for submission of
abstracts is March 31, 2005.
The 2005 Telecommunications Policy Research Conference will be held from
Friday, September 23 through Sunday, September 25, 2005 at the George
Mason University Law School in Arlington, Virginia. We are now inviting
submissions of abstracts for the program; information on the procedure for
submitting a paper to TPRC can be found at the link below. TPRC also
invites suggestions on special panels and tutorials.

The TPRC is a premier gathering of policymakers, academics, industry
officials, and others in the domestic and international telecommunications
and technology policy communities. The TPRC seeks to acquaint policymakers
with the best of recent research and to familiarize researchers with the
knowledge needs of policymakers and industry. This year TPRC is
soliciting abstracts for policy-relevant papers in the following topic areas:
· Comparative History
· Competition Policy in Network Technologies and Industries
· Information and Communication Technologies for Community and
National Development
· Intellectual Property
· Mass Media and Content Regulation
· Disruptive New Technologies
· Privacy and Security
· Regulation, E-regulation, and Governance of Information and
Communication Technologies
· Spectrum Policy and Wireless Applications
Again, the deadline for abstract submissions is March 31, 2005.
Many thanks,
John
