[Note: I'm cross posting this from Farber's IP list. I share some of
the concerns that Rich Wiggins expresses about Gordon's earlier
postings and experience. In fact, after I posted Gordon's item
yesterday, I called him up to express some of those concerns. Rather
then do a blow by blow of what I discussed with Gordon, I think that it
would be better to point my readers to a place where you can find out
just the sort of info about the various VoIP services that Wiggens
suggests. Its run by 'Broadband Reports' and is one of the best sites
that I know of to find reports from users of all of the various and
varied VoIP offerings out today. Its at:
<http://www.broadbandreports.com/forum/voip>. Do a search on 'Lingo'
and you'll quickly find out what others are saying about that service.
It would be great for Gordon [AND IPers djf] to post some of his
experiences there so that others besides this list and IP can benefit.
