[ga] New Congressional Bill on Whois to further invade privacy...

All former DNSO GA members or other interested stakeholders/users,

Kathy Klinemen amongst others took notice of a recent
bill horribly misnamed "Fraudulent Online Identity Sanctions Act."
(FOISA)
has been submitted at what seems to be at the behest of ICANN
BoD and Intelectual Constiuency members of the now so called
GNSO.

INEGroup members have been taken aback given several Whois
Task Forces convened by ICANN that were resoundingly against
this sort of nonsense and infringement on individuals privacy..

We hope that the ACLU and other privacy groups will join
with us in letting our congress folk this bill is not wanted nor
needed.
