Ohhh, wait, I think I see what you're asking. You want to be able to
type in:
=foo ~r>2w ~fbar
And have that limit automatically applied?
Nah, sorry... you've got at least one extra keystroke.
At best you can make mutt ask you for a limit every time:
folder-hook . 'push <limit>'
... but that would likely get annoying after a while.
