I guess the OP didn't ask for the function, but whether the use of
the known function can leave traces behind that it was invoked to
distinguish it from single-user replies.
But currently the answer is "no".
Though it would certainly be nice to have. ;)
OP: Submit a patch or at least a wish item on the bugs.mutt.org page.
