unnecessary IF you define DEFAULT as $PATH/inbox/

ALL posts that do NOT match a recipe are by definition delivered to
$DEFAULT.

from my ~/.procmailrc:
  SPOOL="/var/spool/mail"
  MAILDIR="$HOME/mail"
  DEFAULT="$SPOOL/pat"

note: I use mbox instead of maildir format which path definition differs
only by the trailing /.
