Re: Mutt crashing when opening a mail



There is a bug report 339555@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx by Alain, 
"Latin chars segfault in Chinese locales"
I think it may be similar to your problem, except that you do not 
use a chinese locale.

I do not know whether it has been solved so far, you can check it. 

Now I am using a zh_CN.UTF-8 locale instead of other
choice of chinese locales such as GBK, GB2312. Then this annoying
problem does not happen any more.

So my suggestion is that you may choose some kind of UTF-8 locale.
If this can not fix your problem, I am sorry.
