Re: How do I come back from viewing the message to index?



I'd recommend you type ":set help" (then Enter) as the first
thing (and also add this to your configuration).  That should
display the most important key bindings in the top line of the
screen.

The default key to get from the pager to the index is "q"; it's
often also bound to "i", though.

This really all depends on your configuration.
