mutt, exchange, and public folders

Hello everyone,

I asked the question before, but got no answers and the problem still
exists.

I use mutt to read my mails via IMAP on the local exchange server which
works flawless and fine.

The same server holds a public folder structure, which can be accessed fine
via IMAP but not with mutt, it fails badly, so I have to use Evolution for
those folders :(

It is a german Exchange so public folders is called "Öffentliche Ordner"
here.

In the mailbox list I can see the following output:
   18 IMAP outbox
   19 IMAP Öffentliche Ordner//
   20 IMAP Öffentliche Ordner

Mailbox 20 does not work, if I try to open it I get the following
message: This a special mailbox and can not be selected or used as the
destination for mailbox operations.

But no. 19 works fine, I can open it and can see the next level of mailboxes
in it:
->  1     IMAP                                  ../
    2 IMAP + Öffentliche Ordner/error/
    3 IMAP + Öffentliche
Ordner/Statuskonten/
    4 IMAP Öffentliche Ordner/INFOS

My personal interest lies in the folder "Statuskonten" but when I try to
open the folder, which itself stores just the next level of mailboxes, I
get the following message: "Hole Liste der Ordner..."

Some things I noticed:

1.) Using LANG=C mutt I do not see two mailboxes "Öffentliche Order", just
one, which I cannot enter, I get the reported message
2.) Strange naming, as Öffentliche Ordner/error/ looks different from my
other mailboxes stored in a subfolder where I do not see the parent folder
in the name.
3.) mutt is able to open the folder, as I can proof using:
mutt -f imap://user@server/Öffentliche\ Order/Statuskonten/admin\@company

I use mutt 1.5.9 and Exchange 2003 and I do not want to use two mailclients
for my daily work.

As I can open the mailbox directly I assume this is a bug when I try to
open the mailbox interactivly from inside of mutt.
