You don't need the following line:
> source ~/.mutt/aliases # Load in my aliases.
The passage in manual about sourcing the alias_file means that
you have to source it after adding a new alias and want to avoid
quitting and restarting mutt. But it is read in at startup.
Perhaps this solves your prob.
