S/MIME ("unable to load signing key file")
I've followed the instructions at [1] and I am able to accept signed
messages, even using the CAcert root (which I added to ca-bundle.crt).
However, I am unable to sign messages. I get the following error:
unable to load signing key file

No output from OpenSSL...
It's been suggested to me that my private key is in the wrong format.
Would that cause the error I'm seeing? And yes, I exported my X.509
cert (received from CAcert.org) using Mozilla and ran smime_keys as
described in smime-notes.txt. Modifying file and directory perms does
not change the outcome.
Suggestions or pointers would be much appreciated.
