  you're right. I was expecting :set ?record to *actually* show the real
  folder and not record="^", and the same for the Fcc line in the send
  menu. with that command, it just "does the right thing", but you get
  record="^" and Fcc: ^.

  on the other hand, folder-hook . 'push ":set record=^<enter>"' does
  both things, which I prefer.
