unset resolve in the macro. ie.
macro index d "<enter_command>unset 
resolve<enter><clear-flag>N<delete-message><enter_command>set resolve<enter>" 
"mark as read and delete"

Just curious, why do you clear N when you're going to delete the message
anyway?
