<collapse-all> and courier-imap password

Hi all,

I have a 'weird' issue whereby if I add:

folder-hook . push '<collapse-all>'

to my mutt configuration, mutt sends a password of:

Mar  4 01:15:15 hostname imapd: LOGIN: DEBUG: ip=[::ffff:the.ip], 
password=<collapse-all>ThePassword

(NOTE the: password=<collapse-all>ThePassword)

to my courier-imap server.


For some reason mutt is pre-pending  <collapse-all> to my password when 
authenticating to
courier-imap.

If I comment out: folder-hook . push '<collapse-all>', all works fine.

Has anyone seen this before ? Why could this be happening ?
