Hi, I've written a small KDE helper application to display mails from mutt on my KDE desktop. Here's why I wrote it: I receive my fair share of HTML e-mails. I have mutt setup to show the the output of lynx inline, and while this works most of the time, it's not the perfect solution for me. Often enough the mail is hard to read or does not include important information (eg pictures). I played with links and w3m, but never achieved results that I can live with. I also use KDE as my desktop, so I want to have a nice and quick viewer for mails under KDE. None of the e-mail programs out there do that for me. Here's where you can get it: http://www.informatik.hu-berlin.de/~rosenfel/kmutt/ Here's how to make it work: Besides the usual ./configure, make, make install stuff, you also have to insert the following lines into your muttrc: macro index G "|kmutt_magic\n" "Show in KDE GUI" macro pager G "|kmutt_magic\n" "Show in KDE GUI" Now, whenever you want to view a mail graphically, just press Shift-G on the mail. Here's a screen shot of this very mail: http://www.informatik.hu-berlin.de/~rosenfel/kmutt/screenshot.png All feedback is appreciated. I hope somebody finds it useful, I certainly do. Ciao, Viktor -- Wer hat eine alte Spiegelreflex-Kamera zu Hause herumzuliegen? Oder vielleicht bei den Eltern? Kaufe ich ab!
