Saving a message without the attachment

Hi mutt-users,

often I send messages with attachments and I want to keep a local copy
from that message *without* the attachment. The send-message-menu allows
only to unlink or not unlink an attachment when sending the message but
has no option to save or not save it along with the message. This way I
always have to fcc the whole message and after this delete the
attachments in the attachment-menu. Someone should implement an option
for this.
