What I used to do was use folder-hooks. I used mutt to sort my email
(this was before I knew about procmail) into separate folders,
depending on which of my addresses it was to. Then I did something
like:
folder-hook . set from="Allister MacLeod <amacleod@xxxxxxxx>"
folder-hook work set from="Allister MacLeod <amacleod@xxxxxxxx>"
