It doesn't do it on a monthly basis but adding: set record=$HOME/Mail/posted-`date +%b-%Y`' somewhere in your .muttrc will automatically put your sent mail in a folder with the both the month and year in the name. Changed 'posted' to whatever folder name you want to use. --Chris
