[council] Expressions of Interest in new gTLDs: ICANN seeks input and advice
This is not a
request for expressions of interest for new gTLDs but rather a request for
comments in follow up to the Board motion in that regard, seeking feedback on
the idea of soliciting expressions of interest. The comment period will
run until 11 December but it is pointed out that "community members that wish to have their input considered by the Board
during its December meeting, should submit comments no later than November 27,
2009." The Board will not be taking any action in its 9 December
meeting but will be provided a summary of the comments received up to 27
November.
