When I enter a folder, or scroll down a screenful, my ACS characters are all
fouled up. Sometimes there are blocks, as though my font lacks the characters
(it doesn't). A quick ^L redraws the screen properly. Has anyone experienced
similar behavior? I'd like to avoid ascii_characters for aesthetic reasons.
Or, perhaps more easily, is it possible to send a ^L every time I enter a
folder and (this is the tricky part), send the same chord whenever I scroll
down to view more of a folder's entries?
Thanks,
JL
