If you declare it as a mail list you can use `L' instead of `r' to
replay.

lists mutt-users@xxxxxxxx       #this declare the mail list (you will be cc-ed 
by list members)
subscribe mutt-users@xxxxxxxx   #this tells mutt you are subscribed and you 
will not be cc-ed.
