With default keybindings:

T~O<CR>;WO

You don't need the ";" if you have $auto_tag set.

or as macro:

<tag-pattern>~O<enter><tag-prefix-cond><clear-flag>O

Seems you overdid the cooperation by deleting your mailbox ;)
