Mutt - message date - I'm puzzled
I'm puzzled by Mutt message date selection.
According to the index_format my message date is set to: %d:
set index_format="%4C %Z %d %?X?%X& ? %-15.15n (%?l?%4l&%4c?) %s"
%d - date and time of the message in the format specified by "date_format"
converted to sender's time zone
And that is how the my index displays the message: 04/05/08 03:39
and that is correct as the message arrived from zone +0200:
Date: Sat, 05 Apr 2008 03:39:55 +0200
However, when I try to select the messages by date:
shit-T ~d 05/04/08 (DD/MM/YY) that message is not selected. WHY?
According to my notes the ~d (DD/MM/YY) is should selected massages with "date-sent" in a Date range. So why the
message sent on Apr. 05/08 isn't being tagged?
When I open that message above (on the blue line) I see: "<47F6D86B. Fri Apr 04 19:39" - I think this is the
date it was stored or arrived on my machine; and when I try to select the messages from Apr. 04/08 that message is
tagged.
