That doesn't seem to work. No matter what I do Mutt uses ~/mbox as my
mbox. Everytime I exit mutt it asks me if I want to move my read
messages to /home/pobega/mbox, not /home/pobega/mail/mbox (As it should
be asking, to my understanding)

Actually, I did have to subscribe to the mailing list. It wouldn't let
me send any mail to the list without subscribing. So no more need to CC
me (I forgot that I had that in the initial message and I resent it
without editing that bit out).
