Are you sometimes accessing your mail via IMAP, and sometimes
remotely? I believe X-UID is a header used primarily by IMAP... If
you access your mail via local files, you won't see the header added
until you later access it via IMAP.

Yes, I do switching the ways of accessing my email. I followed your
guessing to do more experiments. And Yes, if you read email locally,
then X-UID will not be added; otherwise X-UID will be added.
There's one interesting thing to look at, I tried to read email locally
'first', then used an IMAP client to read that email again. However,
X-UID is not added this time. If you reverse the order (use IMAP
before locally reading), X-UID is there.Does the order really matter?
