Try the wiki -> MailConcept, MuttGuide (the basics).
Then read manual.txt, pointers on wiki start-page.

Maybe this can be fixed (by completing the MuttGuide) to be of
help for more users with your demands (context, intelligent ;).

This is a job for "procmail".

With esmtp or msmtp from LightSMTPagents this can be done.
