What that does is sends a NOOP to the IMAP server, which is supposed
to trigger the server to send notice if anything in the mailbox
changed, at which point mutt will update itself. If the server doesn't
work that way (which, if I recall, they're *SUPPOSED* to according to
the spec), then <imap-fetch-mail> doesn't work for those servers.
