Okay, braving up here. I am a newbie when it comes to char sets. What is meant by UTF-8 ?
"utf-8" is an encoding scheme for Unicode and Unicode is something like a huge table which stores all possible types of characters.
With Unicode and Utf-8 (there're other encoding schemes, too), you can nearly mix up all types of characters in just one mail/text file/website/... like:
α² + β² = γ² ← ∫₀¹x⋅dx ⋯ ∂x/∂y ⋯ bye, Rocco -- :wq!
