Re: OS X mutt doesn't work at insitution, fine at home

Is mutt enabled with DEGUG?

After you fire up mutt, open another terminal and run an strace on the process id of mutt. It will have lots of information in there.

Mutt-ssl works fine for me on Mac OS 10.4.5 at home (calling mutt)
At my institution neither mutt nor mutt-ssl works because the keyboard freezes. This is using an identical .muttrc. This does not appear to be a version issue as I used both 1.5 and 1.4 When I call mutt, I can login, but the screen freezes at INBOX listing and won't accept keyboard commands (except ctrl-c and ctrl-z)/
Administrators don't know what's up.
