I don't normally use less.sh, but I set my pager to the version that
comes with vim 6.3 and it worked fine: typing 'q' to exit less.sh
returned immediately to mutt's index menu.
I think I found the problem: I have the mutt variable
'prompt_after' set to "no"; I'll bet yours is set to "yes". Try
setting it to "no" and see if that works better for you.
