Hmm. This is strange. I read this as if your postfix delivers mail
correctly while mutt waits for something to happen. Hmm. "wait" is the
right keyword: what's your 'sendmail_wait' variable set to? Just look it
up in the manual and try to get more info within the mentioned temporary
file (as least you can use it to make mutt to not wait).

Or you could use tools like strace.
