creating new directories

i like to organize my mails into specific folders..
say

Personal/foo
Personal/foo/blah 

now, when I use mutt and if I save a mail to folder blah (not created)
and even foo is not created, mutt gives an error saying cannot create 
Personal/foo/blah

so I have to exit mutt, create the folder foo in Personal
and only then i can save the mail to Personal/foo/blah

anyway i can set mutt to forecefully create directories?
