attaching another/multiple mail messages

I haven't been able to find and easy way to do this, other than
saving the message(s) to a file, then using attach file.

Is there an easy way to attach mail messages that live in a mail
folder to a new message?  I don't want to use forward -- I want to
attach them as like mime attachments.
