urlview and opera error

I recently swapped out RedHat 8.0 for Slackware 9.1, and hence got an
updated Mutt version. Most all of my configs transferred fine. But
urlview is giving me problems opening a page in Opera (something that
worked without a hitch before).

^B (or ^b?) used to open a link in a mail using a new page in Opera.

My ~/.urlview file reads:

COMMAND opera -newpage -remote openURL %s &

The urlview manpage give this as the correct syntax. It works fine if
Opera is not up and running. If Opera is up and running, I get an error
in the urlview page within Mutt that says something to the effect of
"Active running instance of Opera...". And it will not open the page in
Opera.

However, if I type opera -newpage -remote openURL www.somepage.com at
command line, it opens the link in a new page just fine, but I also get
this error in my term window:

opera: Activated running instance of Opera

Has anyone ran into this problem? Maybe it's Opera specific and belongs
on another list. I am using Opera 7.23.

Thanks ahead of time.
