Just evoke It sure sounds like it. If it's on the local machine because the local machine went and got it rather than it being delivered there then it's no wonder it never sees your .forward! That mail gets written to a disk somewhere on some machine. How and where does it get written to that disk? *That* is where you need for your .forward file to be available and for procmail to run.
