one questions about header
Dear all,
I am a newbie to mutt. I have been confused by the headers of emails
received and sent using mutt.
Here, assuming my host domain is "yur.snoopy.org", so the root's email
address is root@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx However, it's not a real email address.
I hope the email of root is be replyed to zjs@xxxxxxxxxxxx
When the root sent a email to a user of the host, snoopy, and the
replyed email by snoopy is sent to zjs@xxxxxxxxxxxx But if root sent a
email to outside friend, zhao, for example, at zhao@xxxxxxxxxxx And the
replyed email by zhao is sent to root@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx It should be
noted that zhao received his email using outlook under windowz.
I hope to know why there is a difference, and how to make all the
replyed email is sent to zjs@xxxxxxxxxxxx
my ~/.muttrc is just as the following several lines, and all the others
is set to default:
my_hdr From: zjs@xxxxxxxxxxx
my_hdr Return-Path: zjs@xxxxxxxxxxx
my_hdr Reply-To: zjs@xxxxxxxxxxx
set from = "szjs@xxxxxxxxxxx"
And the detailed header of email received by snoopy is:
>From root@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sat Nov 22 04:15:08 2003
Return-Path: <root@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
Received: from yur.snoopy.org (localhost [127.0.0.1])
by yur.snoopy.org (8.12.10/8.12.10) with ESMTP id
hALKF8wR001139
for <root@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>; Sat, 22 Nov 2003 04:15:08 +0800
:Received: (from root@localhost)
by yur.snoopy.org (8.12.10/8.12.10/Submit) id hALKF81l001138
for root@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx; Sat, 22 Nov 2003 04:15:08 +0800
Date: Sat, 22 Nov 2003 04:15:08 +0800
From: zjs@xxxxxxxxxxx
To: snoopy@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Message-ID: <20031121201508.GA1135@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
Reply-To: zjs@xxxxxxxxxxx
Mime-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii
Content-Disposition: inline
User-Agent: Mutt/1.4.1i
Status: RO
X-Status: A
Content-Length: 7
Lines: 1
However, the header of email received by zhao is:
Date: Sun, 23 Nov 2003 08:31:10 +0800
From: <root@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
To: zhao@xxxxxxxxxx
