    What terminal, TERM, and font are you using?

    When in Cygwin's console with TERM=cygwin, there are no semi-graphic
chars (unless CYGWIN=codepage:oem mode which has drawbacks). So I use
this in muttrc:

| set ascii_chars=`if [ "$TERM" = "cygwin" ] ; then echo yes ; else echo no ;
fi`

    But feel loads more comfortable with PuTTY sshing (or telnetting) to
Cygwin with TERM=putty and Lucida Console font, so I get the nice real
graphic tree.

Bye!    Alain.
