 Unfortunately, your gdb backtrace is useless (possibly because mutt has
 been stripped during the gentoo build). Your core file is also useless
 since I'm not on the same machine. What would help is if you could rebuild
 vanilla mutt from source and generate a new backtrace from that. It looks
 like you'd configure mutt with the flags: `--enable-debug --enable-imap
 --with-gnutls --enable-hcache`

 You could also try disabling the header_cache in your muttrc to see if
 that has any effect.
