Yes, it works for all other mailboxes, except for the homespool.

Copy new message to homespool. Then:
stat ~/Maildir/new

13:52:08 2010" "Sep 17 13:52:08 2010" "Nov 17 13:45:43 2008" 4096 0 0
/Users/chris/Maildir/new
