You can use <view-mailcap> (bound to 'm' by default in the file list
window) to get the desired behaviour. I just spent quite a few minutes
figuring that one out.
I considered changing browser.c:_mutt_select_file() to set M_MAILCAP when
it calls mutt_view_attachment(), but I'm happy enough with view-mailcap.
