The backtrace is useless though. Please do:
- check if the ports build has patches and if one of them is the culprit
(by leaving it out and re-testing)
- otherwise make sure the software gets compiled with debug symbols
(-ggdb3 on the command line, for instance in CFLAGS) and that these do not
get stripped on install (there must be no strip invocation and no -s on
the install command line, and make install must be used, not make
install-strip).
